A PLACE TO BELONG AND BECOME

"Making a space to belong is easy, you just need to find the shared interests. Making a space where students can actually become their best selves is so much harder. However, I believe our community is proof it can be done."

The Middlebridge Classroom

Middlebridge has achieved a reputation as one of the leading high school programs in the country for students with learning differences. Classes are small—with between five and seven students—and comprised of peers who share similar learning  profiles.

The Middlebridge classroom is success-oriented to encourage academic curiosity and motivation.

Emotional Intelligence

Our innovative Emotional Intelligence curriculum sets us apart from other schools. These daily classes allow students to focus on their potential for emotional wellness and development, building stronger relationships, managing conflict or anxiety, understanding of psychology, navigating social media with integrity, and developing core values.

Emotional Intelligence classes promote students to become confident, passionate, and engaged adults.

Internships & Community Service

To emphasize and support our community service programming, our internship program allows students to explore potential areas for future study at college and to develop personal hobbies and passions through internships, job-shadowing, and fieldwork.

We partner with dozens of local organizations to create internship and volunteer opportunities.

Student Life

Many of our students are talented athletes, and we have five competitive sports teams. We have a quality fine and performing arts program, and dozens of electives ranging from surfing to creative writing.

Middlebridge is within driving distance of some of the best natural and cultural experiences in the Northeast. We offer weekend trips to enrich students’ education by taking advantage of what this region has to offer.
